Michael Jackson

Michael Joseph Jackson was an American singer, dancer, and songwriter born on August 29, 1958 in Gary, Indiana and passed away on June 25, 2009. He donated (at least) a remarkable 500,000,000 dollars to charity. Michael is also known as The King of Pop (a title given to him by Elizabeth Taylor) or under the initials MJ. He is the owner of the best selling album of all time, Thriller (1982) which was awarded 30 times platinum at the beginning of 2016. Jackson was the first black artist whose music video (Billie Jean) was aired on MTV, and with that success he broke down a racial barrier in the music industry. With his music and music videos he revolutionized the world of pop music.

Katy Perry

Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, professionally known by her stage name Katy Perry, was born on October 25, 1984 in Santa Barbara, California. She is a singer, songwriter, actress and an ambassador on one of the most popular companies of now, UNICEF. Katy, herself was once a Christian-genre singer and was only known at Santa Barbara. In 2008, she released her first single I Kissed A Girl which got mixed reviews but became a successful hit. In 2010, she released 3 singles (California Girls, Teenage Dreams and Firework) that got nominated in the Grammy but lost to other singers. Also, at the same year, she was one of the judges in American Idol.

Adele

Adele Laurie Blue Adkins (born May 5, 1988) is an English singer and songwriter. Graduating from the BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology in 2006, Adele was given a recording contract by XL Recordings after a friend posted her demo on Myspace the same year. She is best known with her international hit singles like Rolling in the Deep, Someone Like You and Hello and the success of her second and third studio album which is 21 & 25. After becoming a mom in 2012, Adele returned to the charts with the ballad "Hello" in 2015, the lead single from what was dubbed her comeback albumĀ "25." In 2017 she won five Grammys for her work onĀ "25," including album, record and song of the year.
